celduc® inc is the North American subsidiary of celduc® relais, an innovative manufacturer of Solid State Relays, Magnetic Sensors, Reed Relays and Switches.
With a highly automated factory, located near Lyon in France, an established network of Sales Representatives and stocking Distributors based in the Americas we are well positioned to support your requirements.
Since 1964 celduc has been focused on manufacturing high-reliability switching and sensing devices. Our expertise in the development and production of Solid State Relays, Magnetic Sensors, Reed Relays and Switches for industrial applications has given us access to major markets around the world. With nearly 200 full-time employees in 4 countries on 3 continents, we are proud to manufacture more than 1 million relays per year which are sold worldwide, helping to promote French industrial expertise and “100% made in France” quality.
Solid State Relays (SSRs) are used to control all types of loads used across many industries, such as industrial heating, temperature control, motor control, automation interfaces, etc. Fully electronic, SSRs have no mechanical moving parts, so they have a longer service life compared to Electromechanical Relays (EMRs). In addition, their semiconductor-based design makes them environmentally safe.
celduc’s SSRs are known for their high reliability and long electrical life. By limiting equipment breakdowns and maintenance our SSRs offer long term savings in cost of ownership; once installed, the devices remain operational almost indefinitely.
Several different mounting styles, covering a wide range of voltage and current ratings:
celduc’s Solid State Relays are available in panel mount, DIN rail mount or PCB mount, with a wide range that can handle up to 125 Amps/660VAC. We offer different package styles allowing the SSRs to be mounted in several different ways, depending on the preferences and the space availability of the user.
Easy and fast connections:
Solid State Relays with screw terminals are commonly used in the industrial sector but celduc® offers several different types of connections to provide more flexibility and meet the needs of various applications.
Beside our standard hockey-puck style SSRs with screw terminals, we offer Solid State Relays with push-in spring terminals having significant time and cost advantages over the entire life cycle of a system. Faster commissioning reduces upfront costs, and maintenance-free connections provide long-term savings. Furthermore, maintenance-free spring pressure connection technology offer a greater system uptime and equipment reliability.
Additionally, celduc® also manufactures Solid State Relays with fast-on terminals which are an easy-to-use clip connection, without the use of screws.
« Ready to use » versions with integrated heatsink:
In order to make it easier to select and use, celduc® offers complete assemblies which consist of a solid state relay plus optimized heatsink, and are therefore ready to use right out of the box. They offer defined rated currents to make selection as easy as possible.
These assemblies can easily be installed onto a standard mounting rail, or they can be mounted on support plates with fixing screws.
In summary, our Solid State Relays are easy to install, easy to use, robust and multipurpose. They are well designed and optimized for a wide variety of industrial applications. All part numbers are CE certified in addition to meeting UL, CSA, UKCA, EAC and VDE standards.
If our large selection of standard products does not meet your needs, we can discuss a custom solution to help you optimize your design. Do not hesitate to contact us to review your technical requirements..
An extensive range of Magnetic Proximity Sensors
celduc® relais also supplies magnetic proximity sensors which are a proven and popular choice for many types of applications. They are often used to monitor the open or closed status of doors, gates, … and more in security applications. Basically, magnetic proximity sensors are a first class solution for any application where there is a need to monitor the position of a moving surface. Safety magnetic proximity sensors ensure operator safety and maximize the operating reliability of your equipment.
